Ivy Faerie is an international, multi-award-winning artist. She was crowned the 2020 Golden Champion at the Golden Legend Champion Challenge (GLCC) where she also received the titles of Golden Innovator (Most Innovative) and Golden Gown (Best Costume)! She is the Burlypicks Solid Gold International Champion, placing 1st Place Best Overall in Worlds after placing 1st Place Best Overall in the Colorado regionals! She received the Golden Ambassador title in 2021 and has been mentoring for the past three years, being awarded a master mentor in 2023. Ivy started her performance career as a professional dancer and musical theatre performer before venturing into burlesque. Since 2009, she has performed, featured, and headlined in numerous burlesque festivals and shows, as part of group acts and as a soloist. In 2023 she performed at The Australian Burlesque Festival, The Glasgow Festival of Burlesque and she was an invited Gala Star, teacher, and judge for the That’s Amore Burlesque Festival in Rome, Italy. She is honored to have the guidance of burlesque legends Trina Parks, Lovey Goldmine and Gabriella Maze and to serve as Regional Ambassador for the BurlyCares organization.
Lily Star is a theatrical performer turned burly girl. She has worked in the entertainment industry for over 30 years both on and off stage as performer, costumer, director, choreographer, tech and stage manager. Lily has an extensive background as a professional dance instructor and competition dance coach. She has staged multiple production numbers for the Las Vegas, and Smoky Mountain Burlesque Festivals, the Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender, Golden Rainbow’s Ribbon of Life, and has created multiple acts with Burlesque Legends, Tiffany Carter and Lovey Goldmine. She was crowned the 2021 2nd Runner Up at the GLCC and was awarded ‘The Golden Maze’. In 2022 She received the GLCC crown for ‘Golden Ambassador’. Lily is the co-author of Burlesque Legend, Marinka’s autobiography, the co-producer of Pistolily’s Vaudeville, the headliner for the “Lords and Ladies of Opulence” Burlesque Parody, and a Star Polisher for the 2024 Maze Odyssey.
Lily and Ivy have been starcrossed cohorts for an innumerable amount of faerie years. It wasn’t until 2019 that the ‘Star’ and the ‘Faerie’ crossed paths yet ever so slightly. Lily had become close friends with burlesque legend, Lovey Goldmine and was excited to hear that she would be acting as Ivy Faerie’s mentor in 2020. Lily was the stage manager that year and stood in the wings to watch Lovey Goldmine’s protegé “tear up the stage” and leave the audience “breathless” walking away with top honors. In 2021 Lily chose to be mentored by none other than, Ivy Faerie and together they received crowns as mentor and protegé. The relationships had come full circle. Because of the opportunities afforded them by burlesque legend, Gabriella Maze, they are no longer starcrossed, they are friends who have a mutual admiration and respect both on and off stage.
